Calendula Infused Oil

Calendula‑Infused Oil (Simple Home Method)


A bright, skin‑soothing herbal oil you can make with just two ingredients.

You can buy this oil pre-made at herbal stores or Amazon but its very satisfying to make your own. You will need it as your base to make any calendula lip balms or salves. It is also good to have on hand as is for minor cuts or skin problems. 


What You Need

- Dried calendula petals  

- Carrier oil such as olive, jojoba, or sweet almond


How to Make It

1. Fill a clean jar halfway with dried calendula petals.  

2. Pour in your carrier oil until the petals are fully covered by at least 1 inch.  

3. Stir gently to release air bubbles, then seal the jar.  

4. Infuse in a warm spot for 3–4 weeks, shaking the jar every few days.  

5. Strain through cheesecloth into a clean bottle and label.




How to Use It

- As a gentle face or body oil  

- To soothe dry or irritated skin  

- As a base for salves, balms, or massage oils
